Join us for this “great” getaway when we venture out to the picturesque fishing village of Greenport, with wine tasting along the way. Our first stop will be Pellegrini Vineyards, one of the North Fork’s excellent wineries.  After sampling their fine wine we set out for Greenport’s Scrimshaw Restaurant with panoramic views of  Peconic Bay. After our 3 course lunch you can stroll the streets of this charming fishing village and check out the shops. But don’t linger too long because Duck Walk Vineyards is awaiting us. After a tasting at their attractive new tasting room we’ll stop off at the Catapano Dairy Farm where you can see the goats and purchase some farm fresh chevre.

Our bus leaves at 9:30 AM sharp from Third Avenue and 44th Street. This is our sixth year of running wine country tours.

Grape Getaways trips are both fun and informative. During the ride out we’ll talk about wine and provide tips on wine appreciation. The discounted price for early sign-ups (before September 20th) is $115.  The regular price after Sept 20th is $130 (all prices include lunch at Scrimshaw Restaurant, transportation and tastings). The price for members of affiliate groups and for small parties of four or more is $105 per person.
