The Joy of Sake is New York's annual sake celebration. This year it
returns on September 24 to a newly renovated Webster Hall. The line-up
features 271 labels, including 129 not available in the United States,
as well as gold and silver award winners from the 2009 U.S. National
Sake Appraisal.
Now in its sixth year, The Joy of Sake is the largest sake tasting held outside Japan and provides a rare chance to sample outstanding sakes in peak condition along with enticing appetizers from 15 East, Ajna Bar, Bond Street, Geisha, EN Japanese Brasserie, Matsugen, Bozu, Hibino, Kai, SushiSamba, Oms/b, Riingo, Sakagura, Zenkichi and Woo Lae Oak.
