F E S T I V A L

Key West is home to many fabulous events; our internationally famous Fantasy fest, the Power Boat World Championship, a nationally recognized Songwriter’s Festival, events targeted at the gay and lesbian market and many smaller but no less significant events such as Hemingway Days, a Poker Run, and literary and poetry festivals.   However, we do not have an event celebrating the culinary arts in this community which boasts such a rich food and drink heritage!

Thus, an annual four-day Key West Food and Wine Festival is born to be held Thursday, January 28 through Sunday, January 31, 2010!  

Nationwide, tens of thousands of “foodies” and wine lovers attend food and wine festivals each year.   In addition to great opportunities to taste local cuisines and fine wines, these attendees travel to these destination festivals because of the exceptional location.  Not only does Key West already have a well-respected local restaurant and bar foundation it is also a unique destination with an international reputation.  We have the resources of some of the freshest seafood anywhere in the world.  It is our goal to bring a higher national and later, international, awareness of our scrumptious restaurants, unique local ingredients, gorgeous weather and funky fun atmosphere to this well-heeled group of food and wine enthusiasts.
