Ribera del Duero, the home of Vega Sicilia, Pesquera, and Pingus, was not granted appellation status until 1982. Since then however, its powerful and age-worthy reds have been escalating in quality, with the top wines rivaling the world’s best, and awakening neighboring areas like Toro. In this seminar we will get to know these areas and taste their best producers.
