Holy Mackerel! in Lombard is pleased to present a wine dinner on Tuesday, September 29th at 6:30pm featuring the wines of the award-winning Charles Krug winery, alongside an exceptional five course menu.
Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group’s Sommelier Mark Molitor, has expertly paired superb Charles Krug wines with a menu designed by Corporate Executive Chef Paul Katz. The dinner will feature items such as Chilled Smoked Blue Point Oysters with Prickly Pear Relish and Dry Aged Lamb Chops with Black Truffle Gruyere Au Gratin Potatoes, Baby Vegetables and Cabernet Demi-Glace. Peter Mondavi, Jr. will lead guests through an exploration of the Charles Krug wines and the history of his family’s award-winning vineyards.
About Charles Krug
Charles Krug was the first winery in Napa Valley and has been owned and operated by the Peter Mondavi Family for three generations. Peter Mondavi, Jr., the third generation member of the Mondavi family, owns and operates C. Mondavi and Sons and now leads the operations, sales and marketing for the Charles Krug Napa Valley brand. Mondavi is passionate about carrying on his family’s legacy and reputation as one of the top Napa Valley vineyards.
