Veggies & Vino offers an exploration of wine pairings with seasonal vegan and vegetarian dishes. In a world of wine advice based on "white wine with white meat/red wine with red meat", we'll be venturing into the unknown! Dishes will be built around the fantastic local and seasonal produce of neighboring farms in the heart of harvest season in the Hudson Valley.
The event will include live music by the Bernstein Bard Trio, tapas sized portions of 3 dishes, and sample of 6 wines. Vegetarian cookbook author, Nava Atlas, will be on hand to speak and to autograph books.
