Wine OR Wine & Food
JD (his industry given name) has amassed a portfolio in areas where the vine has to struggle with climatic conditions that are not ideal (less sun, for starters)and made by people who allow the vine to grow naturally with little or no intervention. In creating this portfolio, he was looking for these kinds of wines, and he found them planted on a massive swath of chalk and slate that runs from the Atlantic ocean through the Loire river valley and into Champagne. This "Chalk Line" produces wines of extraordinary purity, minerality, and soul and represents the heart of his portfolio. JD's portfolio happens to be one of the most budget freindly portfolios that we have been able find through out France even with the ever depressed dollar against the euro.
