KOI’s Executive Chef Bing Zhou, wife and co-owner Sandy Chen, and experts from Wirtz Beverages will lead a class on the classic Japanese libation. For only $15, participants will learn about (and taste) different varieties of sake both hot and cold, and sample paired sushi. All participants will receive a $20 gift certificate for use on their next visit.
Sakes on the syllabus include Gekkeikan Nigori Sake, Gekkeikan Draft and Haiku Takubetsu among others. Paired sushi includes spicy tuna maki, California maki, and Koi’s signature Dragon Maki plus may more. Reservations are required.
COST: $15 per person includes class, sake samples and sushi.
