Join Serafina's sommelier Salomon Navarro as he hosts one of Seattle's most respected Italian wine experts. Experience a flight of wines offered with bites designed by our Executive Chef Dylan Giordan.
Unquestionably the essential Italian grape: sangiovese. It is much loved, wonderful with food and seemingly on every table, yet not granted the same stature and parise as other varietals. Sangiovese delivers pleasure but also can produce wines with otherworldly complexity, depth and nuance. Tasters will experience how different clones of sangiovese, such as sangioves grosso and prugnolo gentile, and different treatments of these clones reult in incredibly diverse wines. Come hungry - each of the wines will be paired with a regionally-inspired dish. Treat yourself and your loved one to this very special tasting event! Intimate, delicious and fun! WEBSITE: Serafina |
