James King, our WSET coordinator, has recently added the French Wine Scholar Credentials to his burgeoning academic portfolio and as a result has been invited to speak at the French Wine Society Annual Conference in Washington DC on October 7th. Join us this evening for a preview of the seminar James will be presenting in Washington. The topic: Whether there is a desire in Burgundy for more Single Vineyard Premier Crus and how each village goes about applying. He will be using current villages that are going through the process in 2009 and discussing the geology, history, politics and culture that goes toward this promotion process.
