The first level Guild certification seminar presents old-world and
new-world wine, fortified wines, tasting exercises, descriptive and
comparative evaluation techniques, as well as wine and food pairing.
Successfully complete the written exam to become a member of the
International Wine Guild! This is an introductory course of study
designed for individuals who desire to learn about wine. It is open to
all who wish to develop a basic knowledge of wine, wine evaluation and
wine description and does not require that individuals be employed in
the wine or food service industries.
Registration for the seminar includes 150 pages of hand-out materials especially developed for this seminar, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, breakfast and a two-course lunch on Sunday. Participants will taste more than 28 wines. |
