Local Wine Events

Wine Over Water is Tennessee's premier wine-tasting festival, with all proceeds benefiting Cornerstones for historic preservation in Chattanooga.

Stroll the historic Walnut Street Bridge spanning the scenic Tennessee River – one of the world's longest pedestrian bridges – while sampling wines from over 100 world wineries.

Tickets are $60 per person and entitle bearer* to sample an array of wines – red, white, rosé, sparkling... from around the globe. There are a limited number of available tickets – please reserve tickets early to ensure entry to the festival.

With your ticket, you'll receive our commemorative wine goblet, fresh baked breads from Niedlov's and Bluff View Bakery and a guide of all participating wineries and wines for use on festival day and for future reference.

Enjoy live music and sample fare from area restaurants serving on the bridge. (Please note: restaurant fare not included in ticket price.)

Commemorative apparel and artwork will be on sale day of festival.

*Ticket bearer must be 21 years of age or older.

The following hotels have set aside a block of rooms at a discount rate for those attending the Wine Over Water (WOW) Festival on the Walnut Street Bridge as well as the Best Cellars event at the Chattanoogan:

Two of these hotels are within walking distance of the Walnut Street Bridge. Several are located on or near the Free Electric Shuttle route that takes you within two blocks of the bridge.

When you call to make your hotel reservation for Friday and/or Saturday September 25/26, mention that you want to take advantage of the special rate that is offered to those attending the Wine Over Water Festival. Note that there are only a limited number of rooms available at the special rates and cut-off dates are posted by hotel.
