The nebbiolo grape from the Piedmont of Italy is the king of red grapes, and the wines that are made from this grape are the kings of red wine. It is the biggest red grape of the world, known for its ability to create powerful, masculine, dry wines that have enormous aging capability, including Barolo, Barbaresco, Gattinara, and Langhe.
