It was over 30 years ago that a Napa cabernet beat out first growth Bordeaux in the Judgement of Paris blind tasting. A lot has happened in those 30 years, and California is not just for Napa Cabs anymore. More than ever producers in California are letting themselves be guided by the terroir of their specific region. We’ll taste top notch Syrah, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Cabernet from Napa, Paso Robles, and everywhere in between. These wines just might be the big winners in the next “Judgement!”
