August 22nd - "The Life of Wine" - Wine Education at it's best

What could be better than learning more about how wine evolves from fermentation to the bottle at William Church Winery.  This class will feature Yashar Shayan, a sommelier at Seastar Restaurant.  You'll sample a number of William Church wines from different vintages to illustrate how wines come together and are influenced by the art of winemaking.  We will compare barrel samples of Cabernet Sauvignon, one from new oak and the other from neutral oak.  Then we will examine a 4 year vertical of William Church's Yakima Valley Syrah '05, '06, '07, and '08 barrel sample.  Each class will last approximately 1 hour with time available for questions.  A fee of $10 with $5 refundable with any purchase.  Seating is limited - walks in will be welcome space permitting.  To ensure your seat RSVP to 425-427-0764 or info@williamchurchwinery.com
