*VIP tickets include admission to the main event at La Maison Française from 7 to 10 p.m., and to a special "fin de soirée" from 9:30 p.m. to midnight at the awarded Napoleon Bistro Lounge.

DESCRIPTION:

The 10th annual Champagne Tasting at the Embassy of France will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009.

In keeping with tradition, this tasting will feature a large selection from the finest Champagne houses: Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Nicolas Feuillatte, Laurent-Perrier, Pol Roger, Ruinart, Janisson, Pommery, Krug, J. de Telmont, Louis Roederer, Taittinger and many more!!!

Exquisite samplings from some of Washington’s favorite restaurants will accompany your Champagne tasting, as well as a silent auction, with donations from the area's most prestigious restaurants, hotels and boutiques.

The 10th anniversary Champagne Tasting is a fundraiser that will help support the numerous and varied activities of the French-American Cultural Foundation and La Maison Française for the
2009-2010 cultural season.
