Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

Understanding Wine is a four part series designed for people who have never attended a wine class before. Part One begins with the basics of tasting wine. The wines chosen come directly from the shelves of Wine-Sense and have been selected to highlight the basic components of wine: what it is about wine that compels people to swirl and sniff before taking that first sip. Part Two reinforces what is learned in Part One by exploring and tasting the wines of five European countries. In Part Three, we will take a wine tasting tour of six New New World countries. Finally, in Part Four, we will take an amusing look at wine labels, and then show you how to determine what is fact and what is just marketing. Come and join us. We made it easy. All the attendees have to do is sit, listen, and enjoy drinking the wine. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be sampled to compliment each class. Attendees must be at least 21
