For those whose palates seem to take on a lighter path at summer!  For those who enjoy crisp, clean flavors.  For those who love the taste of tropical fruits…for those who love summer and that refreshing feeling of sipping a cool wine by the pool…These wines are for you!!!  Even if you thought you didn’t like white wines, you may find one in this lineup, so join us and find out!

ST. LUCAS – Sparkling Wine “Brut” – Mendoza, Argentina

Made with Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc grapes and made in the champenoise method, with production taking a year or longer.  The grassy-yellow color of this wine complements the creamy bubbles and the granny-smith apple flavors.  Fantastic on its own or make some mimosas with this at a very affordable price, you can’t afford to pass it up.

2007 Clemen – Vinho Verde DOC - Minho, Portugal

Award winning Vinho Verde with bright golden color.  Crushed green apple and honey cream aromas.  Silky yet fruit driven flavors on the palate.  Dry finish and very much a summer white.

2006 4 Bears – Sauvignon Blanc – Sonoma County, California

Rich and complex with aromas of ruby grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruit.  The palate is treated to flavors of fresh melon, fig, and lime.  Lovely finish!

2008 McManis Family Vineyards – Chardonnay – River Junction, California

At Anne’s we’ve come to really love this producer of wines, why?  Cause they produce good quality wine at incredibly affordable prices.  We call these wines our “banquet wines”  This Chardonnay is a great example of what you can serve at your summer gatherings, a quality wine without breaking the bank.
