Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

This is the next in the series of Wine Tasting Events by the S.F. Chapter of the German Wine Society.  These events are a great opportunity for anyone who would like to become more familiar with what many consider to be the world's finest Rieslings and other of the many varieties produced in Germany.  If you already known these wines, this is an opportunity to enjoy some wonderful examples.

As you may or may not know, our GWS chapter has a collection of exceptional wines that have been assembled over the years.  Many of these bottles are no longer available commercially, and they provide a most enjoyable and interesting tasting experience when included in our events.  Our next event is quite unusual in that it will feature exclusively wines from our cellar and will include the particular favorites selected by members of our management board under the guidance of cellar master Marion Groetschel.  The wines to be poured are listed below.  A selection of appetizers will also be served.

Everyone of legal age is welcome at our events, but a reservation is required to attend, and space is limited.  The cost is $40 per person if this is your first event, or if you are a GWS member.  The cost for returning guests and others is $60 per person.  The deadline for reserving is Monday August 31st.

You may reserve your place by sending a check to:

Laura Gregory
GWS Board Secretary
One Laurel Lane
Sausalito, CA 94965

You may also call us at 415 332 2555 or email: gws@gregorys.org for further information.  The GWS looks forward to welcoming you at this event.
