Spirit

The 6th Annual Spirits of Mexico Festival features the largest (private) Agave Spirits Competition in the US and two public events, the Spirits of Mexico Tasting Dinner at Old Town Mexican Cafe on Friday September 11 and the Main Event at the NTC Promenade McMillin Event Center on Saturday September 12.

Dinner guests may freely sample more than 8 brands of world-class Tequilas, several hors d'oeuvres and a 3 main courses, all infused or paired with Tequila.  Judges from our Competition will be joining us for this especially intimate dinner as will aficionados, authors and Master Tequileros.  Dinner also includes a VIP pass ($50 value) to the Main Event on Saturday night.

On Saturday night at the NTC Promenade McMillin Event Center, taste more than 100 styles of featured blancos, reposados, anejos and extra anejos* (*limited to 2 per VIP while supplies last & available for purchase at $5 additional per).  During our Seminars meet Khrys Maxwell, Aficionado; Judith Meza of the CRT;  Master Tequileros Mario Echanove (Casa San Matias), German Gonzalez (t1-Tequila Uno), Arturo Lomeli (Clase Azul), Phillip Soto Mares (El Perdido); Celebrated award-winning Author Ana Maria Romero Mena;  Charlotte Voisey, Junior Merino & Gaston Martinez mix up a Mixology Demonstration.

Gutierrez Family $Million Andalusians perform to the sounds of Chunky y Los Alacranes. Special performances from the Calpulli Mexihca dance ensemble.

Seminars and Goody Bags (+$100 of product!) are offered to the 1st 200 VIP guests as are specialty hors d'oeuvres from The French Gourmet.  Bid on items, some rare--some signed by the Master Tequileros, at our Silent Auction which benefits the Sky Ranch Foundation.
