Wine OR Wine & Food

This is a semester-long wine class offered through Sierra College. In order to attend you must enroll in Sierra College. The course is Introduction To Wine #120. It is Tuesday nights from 6:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m. at the Rocklin Campus in Rocklin and Wednesday nights (same course but different class) at the Nevada County campus. The cost is approximately $100 plus a $40 materials fee for the entire semester. You must enroll through Sierra College. 

 This is a sensory wine evaluation course focused on the taste and flavors of wine. Simply stated, most people already know what wines they like but often have difficulty describing why. This course focuses on the language of wine developing wine tasting skills through a better understanding of sensory evaluation, aroma recognition, wine and food combinations, wine making and grape growing. The course starts September 2 and runs through December.
