With more than 40 restaurants located in a 16-block neighborhood, Cherry Creek North is well

poised to host Cherry Creek North Food & Wine, an inaugural event in the Cherry Creek

North shopping and dining neighborhood this August.  The weekend event includes two FREE

days of culinary classes, an intimate Opening Night VIP Party of tastings with a celebrity chef,  a

Grand Tasting on Fillmore Plaza highlighting the breadth of chef talent among the restaurants in

Cherry Creek North, and a host of wines and spirits to complete the culinary experience.  As

one of Cherry Creek North’s new signature events, the culinary weekend will be among the

summer highlights!

This weekend of events will feature the talents of Cherry Creek North chefs as well as Celebrity

Chef John Tesar, a semi-finalist for the 2009 James Beard Award (deemed “the Oscars of the

food world,” by Time magazine).  Tesar has also been featured on The Today Show and The

Food Network.

·         Friday August 21, 2009, 6 to 9 p.m., Cherry Creek North Food & Wine VIP event with live music and food prepared by Celebrity Chef John Tesar (ticketed event)

·         Saturday August 22, 2009, 6 to 9 p.m. Cherry Creek North Food & Wine Grand Tasting will  feature Cherry Creek North restaurant samples as well as wine and spirits stations.  Live chef demonstration by Celebrity Chef John Tesar  and local chefs (ticketed event)

·         Saturday August 22, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday August 23rd from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Enjoy two days of complimentary culinary educational opportunities by celebrity chefs on Fillmore Plaza (no cost)
