Riesling Quant by Carl Loewen, Mosel, Germany                           2006       25

A gentle white wine with sweet pear fruit balanced by confident acidity.

Try with the tuna tartar, seared foie gras, or fried chicken.

Viognier | Pinot Gris by Heartland | Ben Glaetzer, South Australia    2007       26

Not your typical fleshy, nor flabby viognier.  From viognier and

pinot gris grapes harvested early, this wine refreshes the palate with

nectarine and key lime. Drinks pleasantly by itself. No oak !

Rosé of Syrah by Verget, Vaucluse du Sud, France                      2008         27

Although darker in color than the classic salmon colored French

rosé, this rosé is friendly and focused.  Strawberry popsicles,

watermelon, and a nostalgic smell of cholrine. We love this wine with

our greek watermelon or bibb lettuce salad.

Old Vine Grenache by Evodia, Calatayud, Spain                           2007         28

For a red wine drinker who likes more fruit than funk. Concentrated

dark raspberries and blackberries, with an inviting smell

of grape bubble gum. Young, vibrant, and sexy. Enjoy with braised

short ribs or roasted beet salad.

Rioja Crianza by Arviza, Rioja, Spain                                           2001         29

For a red wine drinker who likes more funk than fruit. This is a

grown-up, elegant Rioja : roasted tomatoe, smoked ham, and stewed

red cherries. In regards to value, one of the world’s best wine making

regions.  Try with duck confit, crispy sweetbreads, or the seafood

tagliatelle.
