Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, and a number of blends featuring these incredible varieties brought to you from the West Coast of this here great country! At first, the early “Rhone Rangers” and what they did in California with the varieties was considered somewhat of a novelty, but now there are many wineries absolutely making kick-ass wine that can easily compete with their French counterparts.
