Wine OR Wine & Food

Morton’s the Steakhouse just launched a new cookbook “Morton’s The Cookbook: 100 Steakhouse Recipes for Every Kitchen,” authored by Klaus Fritsch, co-founder of Morton’s steakhouses, with Morton’s Vice President of Wine & Spirits Tylor Field and Mary Goodbody, nationally known food writer and cookbook editor. “Morton’s The Cookbook” features over 100 recipes for Morton’s signature cocktails, steak specialties and other main dish favorites, appetizers, soups and salads, side dishes, and delicious and decadent desserts.

In celebration of the cookbook launch and partnership with Feeding America, Morton’s Denver Tech Center restaurant, 8480 E. Belleview Ave., will host a cookbook tour event with co-author Klaus Fritsch, Monday, August 10 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., which also includes a silent auction that will include a “Chef’s Table for Six” experience at Morton’s restaurants.  The event is open to the public and the ticket price is $59 at each location and includes a copy of the new cookbook, select appetizers as well as wines and spirits featured in the cookbook, along with a $5 contribution per attendee for Feeding America. Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, and committed to raise a minimum of $75,000.  Funds will be raised from book signings, auctions and contributions in select Morton’s restaurants over the next few months and donated to Feeding America and their local food bank partners such as Food Bank of the Rockies in Denver.
