Cecchetti Wine at Khoury's Fine Wine & Spirits
Wednesday (8/05/09) 6-8pm at Khoury's on S. Durango Thursday (8/06/09) 6-8pm at Khoury's on S. Eastern
Come by this week and meet Erik Ran from Cecchetti Wine Company, who will be pouring his company's two brands of wine, Red Tree and Line 39. The company strives to produce consistent and approachable wines at excellent values from California, especially from the Lake County region. The winery is lucky enough to have legendary winemaker Bob Broman helping them make the wines. Bob has been in the industry for over 35 years and has worked at wineries such as St Supery and Stags Leap Wine Cellars. Bob now works on his own personal premium Napa winery; Broman Cellars, along with the Red Tree and Line 39 wines.
All the wines we will be tasting cost under $10!

The 2008 Red Tree Pinot Noir received a "Best Buy" rating of 88 Points by Wine Spectator and only costs $7.99, what a deal!

Red Tree Cabernet Sauvignon.....................................On Special $7.99 The Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of cherries and subtle hints of oak and cedar in the background. The mouthfeel of this wine is full, displaying a jammy mid-palate of red fruits, finishing with gentle tannins.
Red Tree Zinfandel...........................................................On Special $7.99 The Zinfandel opens with aromas of chocolate and subtle hints of oak and tobacco in the background. The ripe blackberry and cherry flavors are jammy with lots of spices and vanilla.
Red Tree Pinot Grigio......................................................On Special $7.99 The Pinot Grigio displays fresh, delicate floral aromas. Citrus flavors of lemon and lime are supported by a full, long finish for this varietal.
Red Tree Chardonnay.....................................................On Special $7.99 This Chardonnay opens with underlying aromas of lime and kiwi fruit and just a touch of French oak . On the palate, the wine is balanced with fresh fruit flavors of peach, pear and apple. Because we do not use malolactic fermentation, this Chardonnay rewards with crisp, tropical fruit flavors making it an ideal companion to a variety of foods.
