Domaine de l'Arlot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru, 'Clos de l'Arlot'Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, 91 Points:
"A beauty, with toast, spice and chocolate accenting a core of black
cherry. This is lavishly oaked, but very enticing, so give it a little
time to integrate more fully. Fine length."
Cave Alain Cailbourdin Pouilly FuméThe Les Cris is a beautiful Pouilly-Fumé, offering the typical pleasant
floral perfume. It is flinty and mineral, coming from three hectares of
20 year old vines planted on stony limestone. Racy and intense, with
great concentration and length.

Domaine Mardon Quincy, 'Tres Vieilles Vignes'The
village of Quincy is located about 50 miles west of Sancerre on the
left bank of the Cher river. This lesser-known Loire Valley appellation
can be an excellent source of crisp, driving, minerally Sauvignon
Blanc. The Mardon family has been producing wine in the area since the
early 19th century and it is nearly indisputable that they produce the
best, most serious, most complex Quincy available.
Petit Chapeau Macon-VillagesA nice, solid Chardonnay from the southernmost region of Burgundy.
