The Publican's monthly beer dinner for August celebrates the "Art in Fermented Form" of New Holland Brewing Company in Holland, Michigan, and debuts a loose interpretation of a Biere de Garde featuring an elevated level of Munich malt, collaboratively brewed by Chef Paul Kahan, Publican Beer Director, Michael McAvena and New Holland's brewmasters. Chef Brian Huston's menu includes: Golden Cap & wood grilled cheese, market heirloom tomatoes, Calabrian Chiles and extra virgin olive oil; Collaborative Biere de Garde & sand dabs, sweetbread and artichokes; Charkoota Rye & peaches, soba and la quercia rossa; Blue Sunday & confit suckling pig with tuscan kale, heirloom apples, guanciale and burnt caramel; Pilgrim's Dole & ricotta figs raspberries and graham cracker. Reservations highly recommended.
