Hi Everyone,

Our next event  will be a tasting event featuring award-winning wines from Jada. This beautiful winery located in the Templeton Gap region of Paso Robles has become a cult favorite of wine enthusiasts. Founded by a renowned heart surgeon who visited the Paso Robles area more than 20 years ago and fell in love with the region, Jada produces Bordeaux and Rhone varietals. Production is limited to around 4,000 cases, which allows wine-maker Scott Hawley to create truly exceptional wines.

For our event we will be tasting the 2008 XCV (White Rhone),  Hell’s Kitchen ( Red Rhone-currently sold out at the winery ) and the newly released 2006 Jack of Hearts ( a Bordeaux blend). All of these wines will appeal to lovers of big, bold wines with rich flavors and layers of complexity.

The Jada event will be Wednesday, August 5thfrom 5-8 p.m. at The Wine Room in Palo Alto.  Susan West, manager of the Jada Vineyards tasting room, will be on hand to answer questions and share the history and background of the wines and the winery.  Cost of the event is $20.
