Wine OR Wine & Food

Grenache is one of the most widely planted red-wine grapes in the world, known for its full body, juicy red fruit, and low tannins. It's made both as a single varietal and as part of a blend, and excels in each. For this tasting we'll taste several different Grenache-based wines from around the world, including a spectacular 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape. The wines will be:

  • Bodegas Borsao 2008 Monte Oton, Campo de Borja
  • Unti 2006 Grenache, Dry Creek Valley
  • Betts & Scholl 2006 The O.G. Grenache, Barossa Valley
  • Montirius 2007 Cotes du Rhone
  • Domaine de Marcoux 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape

Cost of the tasting is $20. Seatings are at 5, 6, and 7 p.m. RSVPs are required.
