Wine OR Wine & Food

Keeping up with tradition, Michael~David Winery will host its annual Reggae & Rhone event on August 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the winery in Lodi.  Guests are invited to enjoy the Michael~David Rhone wines, Caribbean food, music and entertainment.  Tickets are $65 or $50 for wine club members.

The event will showcase the Michael~David Rhone wines, which include the 2006 Incognito Viognier, 2006 Incognito Rouge, 2006 6th Sense Syrah, 2007 Petite Petit, and a selection of additional wines.   Winery co-owners and brothers, Mike and Dave Phillips have been growing Rhone varietals in Lodi since 1984.   

Reggae music will be provided by Red Di, an original reggae band whose music contains traditional stylings of one drop, steppers, dancehall and world beat rhythms influenced by American rock, pop, jazz, and R&B. The band is from San Francisco's East Bay.

Traditional Caribbean food will be served during the event and guests will enjoy a fire show from Fire Pixie, a group of fire dancers that perform exciting acrobatics.
