Kansas City Power & Light District is holding it's first not-for-profit fundraiser event, a wine tasting and silent auction held at Vinino Wine Bar & Bistro. The proceeds from the event will benefit Newhouse, Kansas City's oldest domestic violence shelter.

Silent Auction items have been donated by businesses from the P&L District, Hallmark's Crown Center, and Lowe's. There will be appetizers paired with 5 wines and a dj spinning Motown inspired music.
