Please join K&L Wine Merchants for a tasting of Pierre Ferrand Cognac at Hollywood's Blue Palms Brew House for our very first Cognac tasting!  Whether you're a cognac aficianado or novice this tasting is not to be missed.  We will explore the production methods of this extremely high quality cognac operation.  The experience will include the Brouillis (first distillation) and the Bonnechauffe (fresh eau-de-vie), Pierre Ferrand's exceptional line of Grand Champagne Cognac, as well as some very rare and single vintage bottlings.  We'll be pouring: Pierre Ferrand Ambre - 10 year old - 91 points Beverage Tasting Institute Pierre Ferrand Reserve - 20 year old - 94 Points beverage Tasting institute Pierre Ferrand Reserve des Dieux (Cigare blend) - 25 year old - Rated best cognac in 1999 Pierre Ferrand Selection des Anges - 30 year old - 95 points Beverage tasting institute Pierre Ferrand Abel - 45 year old - 97 points Beverage Tasting Institute Pierre Ferrand Collection Privee Vintage 1972 - cask strength - 98 points BTI (only 60 bottles for California) Pierre Ferrand Ancestrale - 70 year old - 99 points Beverage Tasting Institute Pierre Ferrand Collection Privee Vintage 1914 (No kidding, this is a $1500 bottle) Samples from the distillation process (the Broullis and Bonnechauffe) This is perfect event for any spirits lover and should not be missed.  Please grab your ticket soon as seating is very limited.  72 hour cancellation policy applies.   Event will be at the Blue Palms Brew House at 6124 Hollywood Blvd.
