The Gourmet Institute, which will take place from October 23 – 25 is a
foodie-focused weekend, organized by Gourmet magazine. Offering food
enthusiasts and curious beginners alike intimate access to the
industry’s leading experts through a diverse collection of culinary
demonstrations, discussions and tastings. As a change to years past,
tickets to individual classes/seminars are available “a la carte,” so
guests can pick and choose what interests them most and pay for
admission accordingly.
Gourmet has gathered an amazing roster of culinary talent participating this year including Ruth Reichl, Daniel Boulud, April Bloomfield, Floyd Cardoz, Scott Conant, Gina DePalma, Sara Moulton, Charlie Palmer, Marcus Samuelsson, Jean-Georges, Florent Molleret, Dan Barber, Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert to name just a few. From sausage making and octopus preparation to beer and cheese pairings and food styling courses, there is something that every type of foodie can enjoy.
