Wine OR Wine & Food
Join us this Wednesday, July 22nd, for a special showing of Evening Land, - an exciting wine project by Hollywood producer, Mark Tarlov, that combines that talent and expertise of Burgundy, Oregon and California under one wine label.
Mark Tarlov has assembled an impressive team of winemakers - Sashi Moorman in California, Isabelle Meurnier in Oregon and Burgundy star, Dominique Lafon, to produce an exciting selection of wines from Oregon and California. You've probably heard about Evening Land, some of you have purchased the wines, and you'll all want to taste them - they're delicious and dynamic.
Sashi Moorman, Evening Land's California winemaker, will be hosting our Wednesday tasting - with a bonus showing of his own wines. Yah! More wines - more fun!
Since Oregon is our New World focus, we'll be featuring two of Evening Land's Oregon wines - the Seven Springs Pinot Noir and the Seven Springs, La Source Chardonnay. The Chardonnay, alone, is worth the visit (the consulting winemaker is Dominique Lafon).
And, as promised - two bonus Pinot Noirs produced by Sashi Moore, one from Two Daughters Vineyard (which has fascinating heritage) and the other from the Carl Meyer Vineyard.
So - four delicious wines, an introduction to Evening Land, Sashi's behind-the-scenes insider's view, plus the added bonus of tasting Oregon and California side by side. That's a lot of fun for a Wednesday night. Free fun! There's no charge for this tasting.
Sashi will be at the Burgundy Wine Company from 5:30 to 7:00, so drop in on your way to wherever. This will be an informal, but informative and fun tasting - and again - it's free. So don't miss it!
Our address is 143 West 26th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues. We'll be wine ready and waiting - so join us!
