You'll enjoy a ride through the vineyards on the Tassel Ridge GrapeMobile where you'll hear from experts on the challenges of raising grapes in Iowa's challenging climate. After your GrapeMobile trip, you’re off for a tour of the Tassel Ridge winery. This tour is perfect for those wanting to attain good fundamental knowledge about Iowa viticulture and enology. You'll have the opportunity to ask lots of questions about the entire process of growing grapes and making wine in Iowa. The tour includes lunch at the winery and a sampling of Tassel Ridge wines. The tour departs promptly at 10:30 am from the parking lot of the Machine Shed Restaurant, 11151 Hickman Rd., Urbandale, IA. You will return to the Machine Shed Restaurant at approximately 4:30 pm. Please check the weather before your tour to ensure you are dressed appropriately.
