This tour will travel to Two Saints Winery at St. Charles, Penoach Winery at Adel and Prairie Moon Winery at Ames. You will have the opportunity to ask questions at each winery and sample the results of the unique style of the winemaker at each of the tour's stops. Of special note to those with an interest in organic agriculture will be the visit to Prairie Moon Winery, whose viticultural operation is totally organic. The tour includes lunch and wine sampling at all three wineries. We depart promptly at 9:30 am from the parking lot of the Machine Shed Restaurant, 11151 Hickman Rd., Urbandale, IA. You will return to the Machine Shed Restaurant at approximately 6:00 pm. Please check the weather before your tour to ensure you are dressed appropriately.
