Noted Chicago authoress and poetess Jacquee Thomas joins Chris Kern of "ForgottenGrapes.com" to pair poetry with wines made from lesser-known grapes.

Mr. Kern guides a tasting of five select wines. Miss Thomas recites a few poems from her book Growing Up (the pain, the joy, the discoveries), and poems from her upcoming book.  The $35-admission includes an autographed copy of the book at a special price. Additional books will be available at the event for $20/each.

The House of Glunz is the oldest wine shop in Chicago, having opened in 1888. Inside, it has an Old World atmosphere. The tasting will be held in the wine shop "Museum Room."

Parking is available on the street and per a neighborhood valet.

Space is limited. Make your reservation and look forward to a fun, inspiring evening.
