We hope you are all having a wonderful summer and beating the heat! We are bringing you another one of our fabulous cupcake and wine pairing with cupcake from The Cupcake Bar (thecupcakebaraustin.com) and great wine from House Wine (housewineaustin.com)! We hope you will be able to join us!
First, you will get to try one of each of the following mini cupcakes from The Cupcake Bar:
- Italian Creme Cupcake with Cream Cheese Icing Topped with Toasted Coconut & Walnuts. Filled with Caramel.
- Nutella Chocolate Cupcake filled with Chocolate and topped with Nutella Icing. Topped with Crushed Hazelnuts and chocolate sprinkles.
- Tuscan Lemon Cupcake filled with Caramel and with Vanilla Buttercream Icing. Topped with a Balsamic Reduction & Fresh Strawberries!
Next, pair it with one of House Wine's choice of wines:
- 2007 Pinot Grigio from Riff, Italy. Aromas of pears, floral, lemon and lime; minderal and earthy with medium body and crisp finish.
- 2006 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from La Valentina Italy. Very rich & plummy with quite firm flavors of cherry and plum. Good acidity & gripping tanins.
- Prosecco 13 Adami from Garbel, Italy. Lovely scents of green apple, white wild flowers, glazed almonds and minerals. Excellent sparkling wine.
Price for the Cupcake Tasting and Glass of Wine is $13.
