Local Wine Events

Here’s what we’re working on for our 3rd Annual Customer Appreciation on Saturday, July 25th from 1 to 4 PM.  We will have burgers and hotdogs on the grill.  Speaking of the grill we’ve lost both of our cooks from last year, (Don and Bill will both be on vacation) do we have any volunteers to flip burgers for a bit?  There will be plenty of chips and snacks to munch on. Soda and water for the kids, I’m even thinking a “big salad” for Elaine and the newly svelte Tommy Bolini! 

Speaking of Tommy he will be here sampling you on his brand new UV ready to drink cocktails, and I’m sure a wine or 2 as well.  Jaime will be back by popular demand sporting a speedo and featuring Santi Pinot Grigio along with some great summer wines.  John from Trio has promised me a “real supermodel “in a bikini to sample you on the delicious House Jam Chillen White and Smooth Red wines.  Mr. Buderworth will be back to taste you on the yummy Rum Jumbie flavors.  Mikes Hard Lemonade will be featuring Pink lemonade and all their new flavors.  Yanni will be here with Opa-Opa.  And don’t forget Erin from J. Polep going around with Tooters!!  We have even more to add to this list, but that is a sample of what we have in store for you. 

If that weren’t enough we have been squirreling away glasses, t-shirts, and will be hitting up all the vendors for more free stuff to give away.  Plus we will be bringing back our famous Cork’s tasting raffle for 1 day only!!  So far we have have a Redsox/Bud Light Cabana tent…Sam Adams deck chair...a huge Sam Adams canvas umbrella…a Santi Pinot Grigio patio umbrella...a Twisted Tea wooden tree house thingie and floating pool cooler.  Corona inflatables and floaties…and a bunch of other stuff I’m forgetting, or will be getting in the future. 

This is a real fun event and gives us a chance to thank you for being loyal Cork’s customers.  Hopefully this crappy weather will subside and we can all enjoy the day both inside and out.  Be sure to check back often for details and updates as the big day gets closer.
