The Chautauqua Bon Vivant raises funds for the philanthropic endeavors of the Centaur  Stride Therapeutic Riding Programs, a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.   The event will showcase the best of the region's bounty and bring together top talent from the culinary, winemaking and cocktail culture in the U.S.

Centaur Stride provides access to individuals with a broad spectrum of disabilities to the benefits of horseback riding. Programs are designed to improve many facets of the lives of the participants, their families and the individuals working with them. Riders without disabilities participate in this program by providing lessons.  This integration creates awareness of the basic human needs of friendship, understanding and inclusion for all. Over time and through hard work, some riders make significant improvements in their physical abilities, but all riders, whether their challenges are physical, mental or emotional, or a combination of all of the above, make great "strides". Today, more than 150 individuals benefit annually.
