ThePoisonCup is proud to be hosting Eric May and Ann Hemenway for a prose reading on Thursday, July 23rd at 7:00pm..

Ann Hemenway is an associate professor in the Fiction Writing Department at Columbia College Chicago. Her fiction and creative nonfiction has appeared in Writing form Start to Finish, Emergence, Private Arts, Sport Literate, The Thing About Hope Is… and f 5. Her artwork has been shown at the ARC and Gahlberg galleries.
 
Eric May is an associate professor in the Fiction Writing Department at Columbia College Chicago. A former reporter for The Washington Post, his fiction has appeared in f 5 and f 6, and Fish Stories: Collective One. In addition to his writing for the Post, his nonfiction has appeared in Sport Literate and the Chicago Tribune.

The reading will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be followed by a wine tasting.
