Turtle Creek Winery private visit & picnic!

Join us for a leisurely Saturday spent in Lincoln for a private tour and tasting at Turtle Creek Winery followed by lunch on the grounds.
Turtle Creek owner & winemaker Kip Kumler will be leading us around the vineyards and through the winery, giving insight into his growing, harvesting and wine-making processes. And we get to taste a few of his wonderful wines - if we're extra nice, maybe he'll break out some of his amazing Cabernet Franc made from locally grown grapes...
Kip has also graciously agreed to allow us the time for a picnic lunch on the winery grounds. This is a BYOP - Bring Your Own Picnic. So pack up sandwiches or salads made from local summer veggies or pick up some creamy cheeses & accompaniments at the nearby Concord Cheese Shop to enjoy. We'll even be providing the dessert! There will be picnic tables, but feel free to bring a blanket to lay out in the grass if you wish. We will take time to enjoy the sunshine, maybe enjoy another glass of wine, and get to know one another in a relaxed & convivial atmosphere.
A pretty pleasant way to spend a Saturday in summer, if we say so ourselves!
Our plan is to meet at 11:00am at the winery for two hours with Kip, and then settle into our lunches around 1:00pm. Please email Willow if you're interested in attending but do not have a car -- or if you are planning to attend and have room for an extra Slow Foodie. We highly encourage carpooling of possible!
