An evening of fine wine, sumptuous tastings, live music and fabulous live and silent auctionitems will take place on Sunday, August 30 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. during the 8th annual Reds, Whites & Blues event benefiting Prevail, Inc. at the Ritz Charles,  12156 North Meridian Street, Carmel.

 

Reds, Whites & Blues is presented by Premier sponsor Riverview Hospital and the Riverview Hospital Medical Staff. WISH TV anchor and investigative reporter, Karen Hensel, will serve as emcee as guests enjoy tastes of 80 fine wines and food samples from some of the top restaurants in the Indianapolis area. The following are already confirmed, with many more expected: Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Fiona MacCool’s Irish Pub, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Heavenly Sweets, Kelties, Kona Grill, The Melting Pot, Mudsocks Grill Ritz Charles and Yats.

 

Four first ladies of Hamilton County will serve as the honorary quad-chairs of Reds, Whites & Blues. Liz Brainard, First Lady of Carmel, Teri Ditslear, First Lady of Noblesville, Jana Faultless of Fishers and Barb Cook, First Lady of Westfield will help present Prevail’s signature fundraising event of the year. Sponsors for this year’s event include WISH TV 8, 107.9 FM The Track and Maverick Public Relations serving as Signature sponsors.

 

Last year’s event raised $56,000 for Prevail’s programs that served more than 3,000 victims of crime and abuse. The goal for 2009 is $80,000. Prevail is an awareness and support program advocating for victims of crime since 1986.

 

Tickets are $75 per person and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
