The 6th Annual Shine to Wine Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Downtown North Wilkesboro. We will have live entertainment, art, merchandise, wine, and food. General admission is FREE, and wine tastings are $15 for advance tickets until 5:00pm on April 23rd, $20.00 after April 23rd and at the gate! 

Along with showcasing North Wilkesboro, Wilkes County and the burgeoning wine industry in our area, this year’s event will feature our 3rd Annual Culinary Chef Challenge, where regional chefs representing surrounding restaurants will compete for the title of Best Chef, as well as other prizes to be determined. These chefs will display their cooking and presentation talents for a jury of judges and critics.

Due to Merlefest, the 2010 Shine to Wine Festival has been changed from the 1st Saturday in May.  We will resume having the event on the 1st Saturday in May in 2011.

There will also be free musical performances.
