A mid-summer’s night dream come true, the Loire Valley Wine Tasting takes places on Bistro 110’s newly opened "terrasse", the outdoor patio that’s the ideal atmosphere for enjoying the tempting wines and perfect pairings created by French Chef extraordinaire, Dominique Tougne. Menu highlights include an illustrious selection of cheeses and breads, continuing with Whole Poached Salmon "Bellevue" with Tarragon Mayonnaise and Sandre de Loire beurre Nantais (Walleye baked with white wine butter sauce). Other regional specialties served will include Valencay-Style Chicken with Grapes & Muscadet Wine Sauce and Swiss Chard and Goat Cheese Gratin en Cocotte, and a delightfully fresh Chilled Cucumber Soup.
The Loire Valley Wine Tasting will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 23 at Bistro 110 (110 East Pearson), on the Pearson Street patio. Reservations are available but not required for this event, allowing guests to sip, snack and relax at their leisure. Attendance is $25 per person, including tax and gratuity.
