Singles Focused

Singles Focused

Wine Vault & Bistro is pleased to announce its next Singles Only wine tasting.  It will be start at 5:00 and going until ???.  It should be a fun time of mingling with other wine-loving singles while enjoying some great tapas and, of course, some great wines!  Here's what's in store:

ARRIVE BEFORE 6:00 = GET FREE WINE

From 5:00 to 6:00, we're adding an extra free wine pour (bartender's choice) to any wine flight.  All you have to do is ask for it when you purchase your flight!  The wine flights (scroll down for details) come standard with four wines so that means that if you come early you'll get five wines for the price of four.

FREE FOOD UNTIL 7:30

Free tray-passed tapas will be served until 7:30.

DRINK

We'll have three different wine flights (all white, all red, half & half) available, plus wines by the glass, wines by the bottle, cocktails and beer.  (See Wine Flight Tickets below.)

Hope to see you here!  Here are the particulars:

RSVP

Reservations aren't required!

COVER CHARGE

Zero, nada, nothing, zip, zilch!

WHERE

Wine Vault & Bistro is located in the heart of San Diego between Little Italy and Old Town at 3731-A India Street on the upper terrace.  Follow the black handrail from the sidewalk up the stairs to our front door.  Our phone number is (619) 295-3939.

PARKING

On-street parking is usually available within a 3-block radius.  Remember that it’s OK to park in yellow commercial zones after 6:00 and that meters are also free after 6:00.  You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed!  If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always LOTS OF PARKING on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street.  There's also a huge pay parking lot ($1 per hour) at the Mission Brewery Building two blocks south at the corner of Washington & Hancock.  (You'll have to take San Diego Avenue to Noell to Hancock to get there due to the one-way streets.)  So please don't drive yourself crazy endlessly going around in circles waiting to pounce on that perfect spot when there's TONS OF PARKING less than three blocks away!

WINE FLIGHT TICKETS

In case you're unfamiliar with our wine flights, here's how they work:

Each flight ticket is good for four 3-oz. pours, or the equivalent of half of a bottle of wine.  (Remember, if you come before 6:00 you'll get an extra free pour!)  There are also optional add-ons (also 3 ounces) if you want to add on a bubbly and/or a high-end white and/or a high-end red for a little extra.  When you arrive:

1) Select the flight ticket you want from the choices below.

2) Decide which add-ons (if any) you want.

3) Pay for your ticket at the cashier to validate it.

4) Bring your ticket to the bartender who will pour your first glass.

5) When you're finished, bring your empty glass back to the bartender for refills on the rest of your flight.

(Wines by the glass, beer and cocktails are also available.)
