Sponsored by the Barrington Village Association, Uncork Barrington is one of the very best outdoor wine events in the Chicago area. Scheduled to run from 6:00 until 9:00 pm on Friday, July 10th, it's a fantastic opportunity to taste lots of wine, listen to some live music, sample food from local restaurants and have a totally enjoyable evening.
This year the Wine Discount Center was chosen to select the wines for this event and we have naturally picked some really fun stuff.
The event is located just across the street from our store at 311 E. Main St. in Barrington, in the parking lot at the Metra train station. If you are from the Barrington area, then you know exactly where we're talking about. If you live near the Metra line, consider taking the train to this event - the tasting is literally being held just 200 feet away from the Barrington stop!
Tickets for this event are $45 in advance and slightly higher at the door. You can purchase your tickets over the phone through the Wine Discount Center at 847-277-0033. Just ask for Jim or Mike and mention that you heard about it on local wine events! We hope to see you there!
