The Tercero label is co-owned by winemaker Larry Schaffer and Christie MacDonald.  The winemaking style at Tercero is ruled by pragmatism - make the best wines possible from what Mother Nature supplies each year.  Their goal is to create wines that are distinct, interesting, good to drink, fun to share with others, and are reasonably priced. Tercero wines produces top quality red, white, and rose wines from leading vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County. Our goal is to create wines that are distinct, interesting, good to drink, fun to share with others, and are reasonably priced. We look at things in very simple terms - start with great grapes from great places, take care of the grapes/wines during each and every step of the process, and then bottle each wine under screw cap to ensure minimal bottle variation during its life after bottling. Our company is small - only two of us - and therefore we cherish the relationships we have built up, and will build up, with you - our customers.
