WHAT/WHO:

California wine country is moving north to Seattle with the Robert Mondavi Discover Wine Tour.  Ted Allen, Robert Mondavi Private Selection Brand Ambassador, is launching an online contest (www.discover-wine.com) to encourage consumers to submit food and wine questions to win the ultimate epicurean experience with him on July 17.  Additionally, guests are invited to join Robert Mondavi Private Selection Brand Manager Angus Lilley and other wine experts at the Robert Mondavi Discover Wine tour to learn anything and everything – from winemaking to wine pairing.

 

Bite of Seattle is the sixth stop on the nationwide Robert Mondavi Discover Wine tour bringing an interactive and educational wine experience to consumers.  Bite of Seattle will be held at the Seattle Center and is one of the city’s premier food and wine tasting events, boasting live entertainment.

ROBERT MONDAVI DISCOVER WINE ATTRACTIONS:

  • The Robert Mondavi Wine and Cooking Stage – Guests can participate in wine tasting and cooking demonstrations with some of the best local chefs and wine experts
  • Essence Station: Before wine sampling, guests will be encouraged to stimulate their senses and become acquainted with essences – the subtle aromas and flavors found in every glass of wine
  • Guests will be able to watch exclusive video footage on the set, giving a look into how Robert Mondavi revolutionized the American wine industry and winemaking
  • Wine Tasting Seminars featuring wines from Robert Mondavi Winery and Robert Mondavi Private Selection
